My DD's are in a wedding in the fall and the bride would like to buy each of them an American Girl Doll and have a matching dress
http://www.davidsbridal.com/flowergi...5&prodgroup=11 <~~~ Link to the Dress. I would be willing to pay to have you make 2 of these dresses in doll size I am not concerned about the beading just the general design of the dress. Can you help PLEASE!!!!
Thanks

I wouldn't presume to be a great seamstress, but there ARE a couple or so of "real" seamstresses on the board, who sell their creations for AG on ebay.

I'm sure one of them will be glad to help!

My DD has done pageants since she was 6 months old and we've done almost all of her clothing for them. I can tell you that if you find someone to make the dresses for you it will be fairly easy to do the decorating to 'match'. Just buy the bridal trim and glue it onto the dress using E6000. Believe it or not the pageant dresses that are totally maxed out with stones and beading are done this way! You can hand sew the bead on if they are pearls or bugle beads. If you take a closeup detail of the girls dresses when you get them I can help you with decorating them to match. That falls under the catagory that my DH says is part of that useless information I have rolling around in my head!!! LOL
Just let me know! I'll help you all I can!

Thanks so much I will take you up on the decorating offer Miss_Felicitys_closet may be able to duplicate the dresses so that would be GREAT and then if you can guide me on the beading I will be so grateful not to mention 2 happy girls and one very happy bride!
